I have a 1993 Honda Accord LX and it takes it forever to go into lockup. 15 miles or more. When the transmission is finally hot enough it will go into lock up all day long. I've changed the transmission fluid twice with Honda fluid. I don't know what could be wrong. Thanks.

Have you considered replacing the thermostat. My 91 was having the same problem, but i noticed on colder days the temp guage registered near cold. I replaced thermostat and it locks up as soon as i get on highway. Was running about 3400 rpm at 70 mph....now i run 3000 rpm at 70 mph. Saves on the gas bill. 3 more miles to the gallon highway. $3 part plus gasket and 30 mins of work. Worth a shot.
