1993 Camry - Stub axles
If you have had occassion to replace the rear stub axle, I be interested in what the symptoms were. My car has a vibration that I think is coming from the back. Why do I think back? My brakes started pulsing and got steadily worse. I replaced the shoes and cut the drums. The vibration was still there but the pulsing stopped and things felt "right". However, I am now back to the pulsing brakes.
I can't find anything wrong with the front at this time. Wheel bearings are tight, pads show no unusual wear. Rotors appear to be in good shape too. Anything to narrow this down would be appreciated. I hate to just start swapping things out. |

Re: 1993 Camry - Stub axles
Is it possible the wheels were tightened on the car without torqueing them? If they were just blasted on with an air wrench, they may be warping the drums.
