I have a 2002 Acura RSX Type S. I am wondering if a Honda Prelude turbo kit would work on my car. I am only saying this, as they are both 200 HP 2.0L engines.
Also, if so, would other parts be interchangeable between the two? LET ME KNOW ASAP! |

I dont think so.
The RSX type s is 2.0l but the setup of the engine is totally different from the Prelude the prelude has a H22a engine which is 2.2l and the headers are in front of the engine not in the rear like the RSX |

Just have a custom setup built. It won't cost that much difference than a good kit.

Wait a while and see what comes out of Japan. A Prelud turbo kit will not work on your Type S. First of all, they are two completely different engines. Also, the K20C rotates clockwise, instead of counterclockwise (H22A). Secondly, the intake and exhaust manifolds are on the opposite ends of the engine bay, when compared to an older Honda (ex. man. is at the back, in. man. is in front). Good luck trying to piece a kit to fit that. I think the best option would be to see what them crazy Japanese tuners are doing. Also, a good idea would be to pick up a copy of the Hyper REV Integra bible (Japanese). The new Integra bible should have some nice info on the RSX.
