AMT made one but it's originally made by MPC; I got mine from Ebay. I had to search for it but they're out there. Congratulations on having one of my favorite 1:1 cars!!

Here's what I found so far: IROC Model

damn, i normally would run you for the kit but seeing as how you have the 1:1 car i'll lay off the bidding for now. J/k
I never knew there was a kit for this car.
i know i would remember that butt ugly box art if i had seen it before.

MPC did an 88 Camaro, which is not a bad kit, but expect to pay for it.... Late 80's early 90's Camaro's are rare to come by, just picked an AMT 91 Camaro kit two weeks ago at the the NNL East and I thought I got it sorta cheap.

BTW, I have a kit review of this kit coming

Here is a link to a 1987 IROC on ebay. It is 1/16 scale and a little pricey, but you may be interested.

Lightbulb

Here's what I have ...

The instructions state that it's an '89; the slightly rounded front end is correct for that year. The older Camaro kits are somewhat more squared as on the 1:1 car. Hope these pics give you info you could use!

Re: 88 IROC-Z 28, anyone know if this kit is available?

I am about to get my cousins 1992 B4C Camaro RS in a month or so.. MMmm I love that car. I hope you find what you are looking for. I will build a model of the Camaro I am getting when I find something close. I will need to add all wheel brake disks and a LT1 engine.
