Electrical System Question....
I would like to install a CB Radio in my bonneville, but the problem is that the radio is not mine and my friend will eventually want it back (when he buys a new car). So I was thinking about powering it through the cigarette lighter. Does anyone here happen to know which side is positive and which is negative on the cigarrete lighter? Also, would it be able to provide enough current? The radio needs about 3 Amps for optimal operation.

Re: Electrical System Question....
The center terminal down in the lighter socket is the positive. The lighter is generally fused for 20 amps. Check the fuse center for cigar lighter fuse. You could also utilize an auxiliary outlet for power to the CB.
