Re: Where can i get a built block?

yeah you def. wanna get it from a reputable and respected shop man. If you go the cheap route for one that has already been " built " or a place that will " build " yours and return it closed face..which is what shady places try to do..you never know what your buying or having done, ive heard of cheap no name places using all stock internals and throwing a set of pistons in so that is looks fully built and charging you for everything, ive also heard of built motors not having what was specified to be inside. Its a shame people do this to other people in the scene..but theres always those few. but PLEASE spend the money and make sure you get what you want and need, cause its always better to be safe than sorry, especialy when theres a few grand on the line. But dont get ipped off either...use your best judgement and when you think youve found what ya want, let us know and well let ya know what we think..after all thast what were all here for in the 1st palce

Re: Where can i get a built block?

What are your goals for the car. If you only want 300-350 WHP, go get a set of .5MM over 9:1 pistons, some eagle rods, and maybe some valvetrain upgrades if you want. Sleeving is hella overkill untill you're making a lot more than 400 WHP.
