There goes MY neighborhood...

Just heard on the news that a lady was shot and killed and her son wounded in an apparent robbery attempt in the parking lot of my neighborhood shopping mall by a young man and woman yesterday afternoon at 3:00 pm. Even the sheriffs department is shocked as this stuff doesn't happen here, until now.

Life without parole would be too good for these two murders. There's no hope for the future...............shit like this just gets worse.

Always nasty to hear something like that. I do hope that the death penalty is applied (or can be applied) in your state.

That's crazy. Something similar happened in my neighborhood. My neighbors son(in his 20's) got in an argument with his grandpa and killed him. And that happened almost next door to one of my friends. It was creepy.

People are going crazy these days.Every one of those people could use a few drinks,or something.A little something to calm them down.

it kind of reminds me of when i was 13, this guy in my "2nd neighborhood" stabbed his wife repeatedly, and then trying to make it look like somebody else did it, he tied himself up in the garage

I live in the "central area" of my city..... so sirens and seeing drug raids go down a block or two away is almost a everyday occurance. but my rent is dirt cheap for a 2 bedroom, everything paid for including phone and cable

Re: There goes MY neighborhood...

I live in a town of 15,000, small central Kansas town, 1 1/2 years ago somebody walked into a bakery here, killed the clerk, and slit the throat of an 83 year old woman who walked in, stole 50 bucks, and went on through town. 2 blocks from my house. freakonaleash might remember this, I live in Great Bend.

Yeah, never really grew up around much crime, nor have I lived around much of it, most crime I've seen is more wannabe crime, by Ali G wannabes

Re: There goes MY neighborhood...

Hmmmmm. Where I live a serial killer just resurfaced after about 30 years by sending the local newspaper a picture of the drivers license of someone else that he's killed. I heard he made national news the other day, anyone heard of him??? He sent letters to the paper all the time when he was in his prime, and goes by the name BTK, which stands for Bind Torture Kill, because, well, you get the picture.

You know. . . the norm.
