fmax or drag ..which one is better?
give me your opinion on fmax and drag turbo kits..would help if u have them or knoe some 1 who does..

Both kits are pretty good. I believe both come with the turbonetics T3/T4 and those turbos are huge. The thing i like about the FMAX is that it comes with two extra injectors that mount right before the TB. Tough choice. good luck

i'd say the FMax is better right out of the box with it's separate injector setup for fuel enrichment.
the Vortech FMU included with the Drag setup is pretty much useless until you upgrade your injectors to handle the higher flow. the drag manifolds are also prone to cracking. havent heard as much about the F-Max ones. lastly, both kits come with T3/T4, which are just useless when only pushing 6-10psi of boost. |

It really depends on what you plan on doing in the long run with the car. If you're wanting to dome some serious track times and want to build up the bottom end of your engine block to handle mass PSI, then you'll probably want to go with the FMAX or Rev Hard. I've heard great things about both kits. The only downside to pushing a big amount of boost on the bigger turbos is that it takes longer to spool up (providing pressure) compared to small turbo's (Greddy 15G).
I use the Greddy 15G because I drive it daily and like to get on it on the street. But, the 15G can't provide as much boost as the larger turbos. Granted, if you didn't want to drag it and just drive it, you could by the 15G, a Vortech FMU, exhaust system, intercooler, BOV, EMU, and some extras and still come out cheaper than the FMAX kit. Just depends on what your goal is.

i was talking 2 a friend..and something about i having 2 start the car be4 driving it for a couple of minutes for it 2 warm up..and couple of minutes to let it cool down when turning it off...is dat true..if it is..daym what a pain in the ass..if u have fmax drag..greddy..does this affect u?

This affects everyone running an oil-fed unit. Even superchargers. THe problem is that since they are oil-fed, you run the risk of burning the internals by letting hot oil sit on them. That's why they want you to run it so the oil can cool down. This is only the case if you've been running it hard. Saves the life of the turbo.
