Do I Need A New Ecu When Turbo Charging?

I wonrder if i need to put a chip on my ecu when i stall the turbo. or would it run fine with the stcok ecu,also what does tha missing lik do. thank you

Most of the time when you purchase a turbo kit (I know about FMAX and Greddy), they come with a provision to supplement to your ECU so that you'll get the right amount of fuel curve and your check engine light won't come on with added boost.
