turbo charged or super charged?
what makes a base model 3000gt faster.....turbo charged...or super charged???

I have never heard of someone putting a supercharger on a 3000. Turbos yes, but super no. A supercharger would be better from the standpoint of avoiding any turbo lag, but they are generally much more expensive.

There are a few 3000's with superchargers. RIPP mods is just producing one too which is gonna make sales go up. As far as which would be faster, ya the S/C avoids turbo lag but once teh turbos kick in and in higher prm/speeds, the turbos (depending on size) would have the advantage by a bit. I don't know that they are that much more expensive. To do a full turbo conversion is pretty pricey. I've never researched it completely so I don't know if it completely matches the $3K-$4K price tag on superchargers but it's not way far off.
