I have purchased an aftermarket cruise control for my '03 4.3L Silverado. My problem is I need to splice into a vacuum source, all the rest of the install is extemely easy. Need to know where is a good place to do this?? I would be very greatfull to anyone that can help. Thanks in advance.

Re: aftermarket cruise control
I got the cruise installed and working, just got back from a 3200 mile trip...I can't believe how nice that cruise worked.
I have an '03 Silverado extended cab w/ the 4.3L , it has always been under powered and not very fuel friendly(16mpg on average). Using the cruise on my trip I got 22mpg on average. I used the AudioVox CCS100 from JC Whitney (approx. $120) once I figured out a good vaccum sorce, the install only took about 3-4 hours. If anyone has questions on installing a system like this I would be happy to tell you all that I learned. |
