Just talked to Igor. Unbeleivable. We're $15k in the hole and he's pulling the plug.

Fuck fuck fuck. Where am I going to go when I'm bored at work? Or at 3 in the morning when no one is awake. This sucks the big one. We need to find a new forum to migrate to before the server gets pulled.

Is there absoltely no hope for salvage? What if we had 15k? I would donate money to AF, there are TONS of people who are addicted to this site, I'm sure that they would too. We need a plan of action.
We really only need something like $15 from 1000 AFers, that seems doable?

Migration is a second option. . . Since nowhere will be as good as AF we should try to save AF before contemplating a migration.

Wow, that blows. Maybe it was naive of me to think running a board like this would be relatively cheap. I just read that he was moving to a new server and stuff. How did he end up $15k in the hole?
