1.8 8valve more power

what would be some quick and simple wayes to get a little more power from a 1.8 electronic fi i put it in a 81 vw pick up

big valves, lower compression, cam, exhaust n intake

No, the only time you want to lower compression is if you plan on adding a turbo. Normally aspirated cars need more compression to make more power.

I have made alot of extra hp in my Rabbit. I shaved the head .030", I put in a big cam (272), and I am using an Audi 5000 intake manifold and throttle body.
