Need help with slight annoyance

Brad45
99' GMC Sierra (Newer Body Style)
4.8L V8

I have probabley a rather odd problem. Everytime that i turn there is this sound like something is rolling and thunk it stops turn back the other way and happens again. Really annoying. The sound is coming from the passenger side of the truck, possibly from the ventalation system. I'm wanting to know if anybody with experience knows how to get the filter off the intake so I can get inside and see if something managed to get down in there and is rolling around. I recently tryed but had no luck, there is a motor attached keeping it from releasing from the rest of system.

Re: Need help with slight annoyance

Can you open a section past the motor?
If you can shine a light into the duct and poke around. I had a acorn one year in my old Lemans do the same thing. What a pain in the arse!
Or go see your dealer!
