Check Engine Light Code: P1744

Have a 1998 Windstar 3.0 liter engine. Check engine light code P1744,
Has anyone out there had this problem? How to repair? According to the code this is the Clutch Soleniod circuit on the Torqure Convertor which is inside the transaxle (transmisson). Could the TRS sensor be bad?? Transaxle seems to change ok.

Re: Check Engine Light Code: P1744

Must be bad TRS sensors installed in the 98's. Mine went bad also but do not have any of the problems that this light would indicate. So I ignore it and if I ever had xmission problems would replace it then. I put a small piece of cardboard, like a business card to keep the light from blinding me at night. Frank
