Tranny Question

Hello,

Just changed out a tranny in my Son's 1983 Mustang GT. Got it (rebuilt) from a company out of Florida. It is a 4 speed "RUG" type manual. Now that it is installed, it slips out of 3rd and 4th every once in awhile. I can take it back out and send it back, but would like to avoid this hassle if I can. Anyone know of any "common causes" that might be fixable without having to send it back for a warrenty exchange?

Appreciate any help....

Mark

I'm assuming your talking about the Ford SROD 4-speed manual transmission which they only used 1/2 way through 83 until the switched to the good old T-5. If this is the case there is really nothing you can do but have it rebuilt again.
