1996 dead

about a mounth ago my wife started her jimmy and drove it to work and when she was leaving it wouldnt crank, turn over, or anything. the lights will come on like normal but when the key is in the start position nothing happens. I can put the key in and start it from the starter by arcing it but not at the key switch. So far I have replaced the key and cylender, ignition switch, battary, and checked the starter. I did find a melted wire that i replaced it was conected to the starter and i traced it down to the relay. does anyone know were i can find a wireing diagram for a 96.

Re: 1996 dead

you could buy a chiltons for abour $15 or go to your library and see what they have. did you check your park/neutrtal safety start switch?? did you check the crank fuse??? a melted wire will blow the fuse.
