Idle speed question (97 Grand Am)
I have a 97 Grand Am, 2.4L, 4 cylinder, ~90,600 miles. I'm wondering what the idle speed is supposed to be when the car is just sitting. I've suspected for a while now that my car is idling too slow. It sits at around 750 RPMs when it's just sitting. When I first start it, it tends to sit at about 1000 RPMs, but after it gets warm, the RPMs drop to 750 when I'm sitting. Is this normal or is it a bit slow? Thanks in advance.

Re: Idle speed question (97 Grand Am)
750 rpms warm is good , 1000 rpms when starting to warm it is good too , no worries it is totally normal.
