Who had B18C Type-R w/ Turbo or GSR w/ Turbo
I keep reading that you dont want to add a turbo with the C5 because they dont get along, and if you want to turbo a B18C go with the GSR. On the other hand people say it's a good combination. I wanted to know what are to pros and cons addition a turbo to the C1 and the C5. I am getting an engine from a shop who is sponsoring me and I wanted to know which engine to get and add a turbo. Also what exactly do I need to add to the engine to get is max power with the turbo. Thanks for the help.

Re: Who had B18C Type-R w/ Turbo or GSR w/ Turbo
Both engines will make great power turbocharged, but if you live in any area where you can't get 93 octane the 10.6:1 compression of the ITR motor starts to get a bit sketchy. If I were in your shoes, I would go for the GSR motor, and get a good EMS (hondata S200 or an AEM EMS) with a fuel system, bigger injectors, a new clutch, and a good tune. For the turbo kit I'd piece together different parts from different manufacturers, as you can build it much cheaper than you can buy a packaged kit. An inlinepro manifold, Precision SC61 or GT35, 38MM tial gate, PTE AS1025 intercooler, build the charge piping yourself, and then whatever bov you like.
