1.9 drop

Im wanting to lower car but dont know how low i want to go. Whats the lowest i could go on my 91 civic with 17's 205/40 tires before tires start to rub on wheel wells and i bottom out every where ( wanting to go low as possible without problems ) ?

205/40/17 on here with 40mm offset (i think, TSW Revo's) and they dont rub, i'm lowered about 1.5" on my 4g4d.
