another divorce

so my mom and step dad are getting a divorce, no biggie here, i saw it comming a long time ago. their dual military, and rarely ever spend more than 3-4 months together before one has to go somewhere for temporary duty. i really don't have any bad feelings toward him, this is his 4th wife, and he's probably got some lady in the philipines (June-Nov) ready to marry him as soon as the paperwork goes through. my moms ok, she's not gonna dwell on it, big opportunities in her career for her.

the only problem i have that that its tuesday night, and i can't watch my damn tv show! the shield is the only show, besides nip/tuck that i watch faithfully every week, but i can't now b/c my step dads on the couch sleeping. can someone tell me what happens?

With the staggering divorce rate, I encourage people to put more time and energy into preparing for married life. It pays off. Lots of people find themselves in situations that are less than ideal, these days. I require the couples I assist to give me at least six months (and usually, more than a year) to help them get ready. I think the divorce rate on 1st marriages is up in the 60-70%s and second marriages are in the 40%s
