Tamiya 1/12 Williams FW14B Renault

Tamiya 1/12 Williams FW14B Renault, can anyone tell me what TS-Paints to use for this kit. I want to order the paints and everything at once from towerhobbies. If you have any oppinions about this kit I would like to hear that also and see some pics if you got any. Thanks Nervestrikes (Kevin)

I have this model, eventhough I've havent done it, the paint are brilliant blue, camel yellow and pure white, dont remember the # of the ts's, but check the tamiya site for the codes if you need them. You'll be amazed with the detail of this kit

Re: Tamiya 1/12 Williams FW14B Renault

I built this kit a few years ago and all I added were fittings for the kit-supplied lines and some minor electrical wiring. I used Testors paints and custom mixed the colors. One thing, check the alignment of the engine cover holes with the chassis pan holes. Mine were off and I cant secure the engine cover on the chassis using the screws and I havent figured out how to fix it.

Kevin, do you have a reissued 312T? If so how are the decals - especially the white? On the original issue the white was very translucent. Fortunately Studio 27 recently released a UMI designed, Cartograf printed replacement sheet that is way better. FYI.

I am not sure if this is a re-issue because I don't know what the decals looked like before. Here is a picture of the box, maybe you can tell from that.

Re: Tamiya 1/12 Williams FW14B Renault

Looking forward to pics of the finished 312T. The box looks nice and white, not yellowed like mine,so it is probably a reissue. One way to tell would be to look at the price on the side, if it is 7000 yen or so then it must be a recent issue.
