driveline vibration/grinding

Ok I am driving the car and take off from a stop light spin the tires in 1st and into 2nd gear, next light I turn and notice a horrible noise/vibration, pull over to check if I had broken anything but it all looks fine. Now when driving the car it gets a bad vibration and almost a grinding noise when the car is at 2300 to 2600 rpm but only at this rpm no more and no less, the sound seems to come from the driveline toward the rear of the car like where it meets the axle. The car has 4.10 gears with 10 bolt posi in the rear. Any ideas would be appreciated.
