Angry 91 grand am : can't find the wires for TCC solenoid

I have been looking nearly all day for a 4 wire plug on the drivers side top of transmission supposedly going to my TCC solenoid with no luck! On the passanger side I found what I believe was the VSS because when I unplugged it I lost my speedometer. So I went drivers side..I found a wire harness on top of the transmission just below the linkage it is a flat harness with 6 wires 4 on the left sided (Prpl,Yellow,Green,Blue) then a gap about 2 wires wide a

The connector is a kind of square plastic alittle bit above where the transmission cooler lines are. If you need to change out the TCC it's behind the valve body cover pan accessable behind the wheel on the drivers side. Be sure to put in a new cover pan gasket as well or it will leak. If you are trying to check if you need to replace the TCC, the main symptom is the car stalls out when coming up to a stop sign, similar to stepping on the brake and not pressing on the clutch pedal with a standard tranmission would act. My one daughter had a 90 Buick Skylark and my other daughter has a 91 Grand Am, both having the same transmissions and similar high miles and both had the same problem at one point in time. It is a fairly easy fix. Hope this helps!
