Can someone tell me how to get the ignition key cylinder out so I can remove the upper steering column cover?

Figured mine out too....for everyone else: Pry the top steering column cover enough to spot the small hole on top and near the end where the white plug-in is. A telescopic mechanics mirror is a great aid in finding things like this. Disconnect the negative battery terminal, insert the ignition key and turn clockwise to the start position. In the small hole mentioned above, insert a small allen wrench. This will release the key cylinder allowing removal of the upper steering column cover. Note that you may need to jiggle the key a bit to allow proper aleignment for the allen wrench to release the cylinder. To replace, aleign the cylinder to the proper position and snap back into place. If for any reason the key cannot be removed from the cylinder, there is a silver button in the white plastic part towards the bottom of the steering column and just in front of the key cylinder that can be pushed upward to release the key.
