'97 Ign. Key cylinder problem, key won't come out easily
The thing won't turn back completely to the lock position. I have to jiggle the cylinder and sometimes the shift lever to get it to move back to the lock and pull out position. (have a console shifter).
It's probably not the ignition switch itself, as I've replaced that twice already, but then again, could it be that little white plastic piece that fits into the key cylinder itself ? (It has two wires on it, snaps onto the top of the cylinder, under the column cover)
Or might this be a solenoid down under the console?
