A6 or A4

Hi Johnny - Turning 16, huh? I'd go with the A4 - it is more sporty for a kid your age whereas your mom and dad might go for a bit more room in the A6. I am considerably older than 16 and went with a 3.0 2004 A6 Avant specifically for the extra room. An A4 Avant, however, would be great for a couple of mountain bikes in the back (it measures 5 feet from back of front seat to rear hatch). The 1.8 turbo will have lots of punch and the Audi quality will be better than anything your friends will have (and it will look sharper too). Cheers //Mark//

you probably wont get nice acceleration if you stomp on an A6. The 2.8 gets to 60 in 9.6, which is OKAY and great for everyday driving, but its not sporty. The turbo A6 has some problems with it and the 4.0 has some problems with it too.
bottom line: go with the A4

The A4 is more compact and just looks a bit nicer than the A6. Id go with the A4

Go get a base model of a g35.

or an A4. I'm just saying you will get more bang for your buck with a G35.

HaHa ^, always pushin' the G35 (G35x, no doubt).

But anyways, I am 16 and would go for the A4 (the current design, as of this post) with the 1.8T. Its a quick engine, but lacks top end (to use the words of ChadEbert). I drove a Jetta with that engine, and its pretty good, but i didnt go fast, 35 tops. but the pickup is good.

Anyways, I'd get the A4 because its much sportier than a 98' A6.
