S2K: Is this a mid engine car? HELP!

I heard many good and not so good things about this car and I was just curious if this was a true RWD car or if it was some mid-engine car with a FWD setup? Someone please give me the details, thanks in advance.

basically....
what these posts say are that it IS rwd, but mid engined, since the engine sits between the front and rear axles. notice that in the pic it is behind the front axle. this makes it mid engined. the rx7 is the same way.

The engine is placed in the front. But technically can be consider mid engine because like flylwsi said it sits behind the front axle.

It is hard to say what it is because of the axels. But isnt the NSX a Mid engine rear wheel drive and the engine is in the back of the car?

This is technical terms here.

If engine is placed in front of front axle it's Front engine. (ITR)
If engine is placed behind front axle it's Front-Mid engine. (Viper)
If engine is behind in front of rear axle it's Mid engine. (NSX)
If engine is placed equal length on rear axle it's Mid-Rear engine
If engine is placed behind the rear axle it's Rear engine. (Porsche)

But in everday life we just use front engined for the engine in the front and mid engined for the engine in the rear.
