trans servos?

Alright my buddy has a 2001 gmc sierra (1500) and he has some mods done to it and tonight we put in a super servo in the trans. It was easy to install the part. well anyways it took up all the slop in the trans when it shifts. It feels like it has a shift kit now. he can chirp the tires into second now. I was wondering if there is any company that makes something like that for 4T65E trans. If anyone know where i could check one out at that would be awesome. Its a seriously a awesome update to do to the trans. and plus he can still put a shift kit in his truck. Thats something I would like to be able to do.

Question Re: trans servos?

SUper Cervo?0 Can you please point me to the site where I can get more documentaiton on that? That Cervo thing depends on the tranny and where is located. I am not sure if the Cervo of the 4t65e really can be replaced that easly.

Re: trans servos?

Looking at the link, this product is only available for transmisions no transaxles. I would think that it do the same thing as a shifter kit. There is a shifter kit at http://www.intense-racing.com. It only costs around 129. That will be my next mod. Ask them, thehy might have something looking like that Servo. Remember that our trannies have solenoids that control the upshifts and downshifts so basically the electronic solenoids are kinda doing the same job the servo do. So the PCM and a shifter kit would do great for your transaxle. That is what I think. Transmisions and transaxles even tought work very similar there are differences on how the clucthes are adjusted.
