K&N all the way, though right now on my Civic, I have an APC generic type short ram pipe, with an A'PEXi dual cone power filter on the end. Great combo IMO.

But seriously, what does this post have to do with JDM parts and motors?

Re: best intake filter

I vote for one that is not on there the apexi filters they have 2 funnel rams. But hey K&N is still just as good if you get one with the funel ram. I have a K&N/AEM filter.

Aren't they foam too if I remember correctly? Foam can't be washed and reused....

Where is APEX'i ?
Best filtering and flow. Its dry cotton so just wash and dry, no oil needs to be applied.

HKS filter flow great but they are terrible at filtering. They can be washed and re-used but good luck getting em completly clean. The Weapon R intake also uses a foam filter element.

aem, injen, iceman, and comptech all use K&N if Im not mistaken.

Correct, AEM doesn't make their own filters. They use K&N.

My vote goes to Apexi
