Identifying A Sr20ve
Anybody know how to identify a SR20VE engine from a SR20DE!?!?
Is it possible to tell from the serial number......? Really need a little help..........

I'm pretty sure the SR20VE will have a deep spark plug well like the roller rocker motors. There will also a couple solenoids on the right hand side of the motor (while staning in front of the car).
Here's a pic from www.gonzonx.com... BTW his is pointing to the solenoids.   Also the valve cover should be black and have a NEO VVL plaque on it. Check out the site www.gonzonx.com. I think the key is the solenoids.
