Question insurance rates

As some of you know i'm going to sell my rs and upgrade to one of the turbo models. I was wondering if anyone knew the exact insurance rates for a 16/17 year old on the gs, gst, gsx? i need to compare and find out where i'll stand financially, thanks everybody.

You can get quotes on the insurance companies websites.

Depends on where you live..Whether you live in the boonies, or in the city, whether its gonna be under YOUR name or under your PARENTS as the primary driver...

Im in Chicago. Before i turned 25, got a price going under State Farm.. They wanted

$3009

a year for insurance on a GST. A TT SUpra was

$3016...

Your insurance goes down after you get married or after you turn 25.. The GST i bought last year... My insurance is

$160 a month after discounts with alarm, proximity sensor, fire extinguisher.. My house also has a garage which brings the price down even more.. So its about $1800 a month... or so...They said they would take more money off if i have a window etchin kit that i could buy for like $30...Plus i have no tickets and never been in an accident..

But like i said.. Depends on where you live and whose name is on the primary driver...God help you if you get a ticket though..or even worse.. get caught draggin

Re: insurance rates

Try to put it on your parents name, a lot cheaper.

Re: insurance rates

I'm 16 also. I got my license last june and i got a speeding ticket(47 in a 35) in september. Then in october I got caught racing, was clocked at 110 in a 65, but the cop gave me a careless driving ticket instead of a speeding ticket. Had to go to court and lost my liscence for a month and was on probation for 90 days (got off real lucky). Now the point is after all that I pay 118 a month, but that is for liability. I live in northern minnesota. I thought this is a good rate considering my record and my age...
