my bracket is doing pretty good, so far today, 9 of the teams I have picked one, including mannhatten winning, for the rest of the night I want seaton hall to win and depaul to win,

Steel - thanks for your input into a thread about march madness Its good to know that you think it sucks. Perhaps we should add a poll to find out everyone elses feelings on the subject.


I was really disappointed with Michigan State - I had them going a few rounds deep this year. We've had the games on here at work and its been quite entertaining while not overly distracting. (Listen more then we watch).

March Madness is a time in March when the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Holds a basketball tournement containing the top 64 College Basketball teams in the United States...the madness part comes in like this....it's much more than just a game of basketball...ohh no...it's pure emotion.....you'll see people cheering and crying in just a matter of seconds....gigantic basketball stadiums full of people cheering for their favorite college team....large college bands playing their college song in order to boost moral and pump up the crowd.......college mascots beating the hell out of each other.....people just watching it on tv at home just going crazy and calling other people to comment on the game......even people who don't really like basketball get drawn in.....you can see just raw passion eminating from the game itself, and if you're rooting for a team, then your emotions start to fly....even at the workplace it's seen....people will display their favorite teams in their cubicles, they'll take days off from work just to watch the game, but what they really do is have a pool....they get the list of teams and try to guess who will make it to the final four (the last for teams left) and even more who will win the whole tournament..you're talking tons of money here, if there's a tv in the office, it'll be turned to CBS so that they can watch the games...quite intense man...that's just a short reason as to why it's called March Madness

Well.. sorry. I'm just extra annoyed this year because i cant rip my stupid roommate away from the T.V. for one damn second while this is going down.

although i WAS watching a game last nite, and it was pretty neat in the final minutes one team made up for a 5 or 7 lead and ended up winning. Don't ask me who, but. Certainly a lot less boring than any NBA game i've seen.
