depends, is it a WRX STI?? if so the ITR is gonna get its ass handed to it, if its a just a plain jane WRX i dunno, depends on the driver.

WRX from a stop AND a roll... ive slipped by an ITR with exhaust from a 40ish roll and im completely stock... plus the WRX responds VERY well to mods getting rid of three cats in your exhaust does wonders for that car

i races a non STI stock WRX in my GS and i took him (not off the line i suck off the line) i dont know who would win out of an STi or ITR but thats one hell of a race id love to see....

WRX for sure. The intake won't help either car, exhaust will help the ITR a little but the WRX more. Plus the WRX is just plain faster stock.

I've beaten ITR's off the bottle, and mine is N/A.

They either wern't racing, or didnt know how to drive.

Its been pretty well proven that year for year the ITR and WRX are evenly matched on a race track. Any differnces are down to dirver ablity, and conditions at the time.
As to which is the better car depends entirly on your perception.

this sounds pretty close.. but a ITR against a WRX i say the ITR the type R cars are made for the circuits, and the WRX is made for the rally.. o well jus my 2 cents that the ITR would win

another honduh fan. your kidding me right? you honestly think a ITR have a chance in hell to win against a STi? i run a high 13 in the 1/4 mile which is around 1 whole second faster then a ITR or in other words around 10 cars faster then a ITR. i raced my friend with a STi and from a dig he embrassed me. he got me by 4 cars to 60. ( 0-60 in under 5 seconds ) and continued to pull by anther 3 cars till 100mph. the STi hits 0-100 in 12.5 seconds. the ITR needs over 15 seconds to hit 100mph. big difference in speed. and even from a roll from 20mph i lost by 3 cars to 95mph and to prove that my car is faster then any stock ITR i raped a 350z by 5-6 cars in a drag and that Z was a 6 speed with intake. the STi should be compared to LS1 v8's, or high powered turbo charged 4 cylinders, not some high strung n/a 4 cylinder. and no not even a S2000 can hang with a STi becuase my friend has one of htose too. and lost by 5 cars to my other friends evo, and the evo had a shitty ass launch. and the STi is faster then the evo. all the STi need to do is to set the active differential to 65% rear and 35% front like what he did with me and he will take off the line like nothing i've ever seen, the car is proven to run a 0-60 ft time of an amazing 1.6 seconds with that setting. a average FWD does it in around 2.3-2.6. and he can chirp all 4 wheels shifting from 1st to 2nd. the ITR is a nice car, but its a joke compared to any other those cars. to us the ITR is like a turtle.

The STi has a whole lot more power than the ITR, it if it wasnt faster in a straight line then something would be seriously wrong with the laws of nature.
The Jap spec car is even faster again remember, about on par with a Jap spec EVO, year for year.

i thought we were talkin non STI. the ITR DC2 or DC5 would have a better chance. but still wouldnt win. the DC5 would have the best chance.

Year for year the ITR and base WRX. are pretty much even when it comes to straight line and handleing performance, the WRX has a lot more power and AWD, but the Integra weighs a lot less, and has a much more performance orintated suspension set up.

Performance oriented suspension? Its front wheel drive which means its an econobox not a performance car.
