1995 Accord EX Clutch
Okay heres the problem, yesterday I went to star my car, and it would not turn over, its like the clutch wasnt working, so i pumped it a few times and tried to start it again, i did this twice and it started right up. I talked to one of my friend and he said it could be the "puck". Does anybody recognize this problem.
Thanks For The Help, Mike |

Re: 1995 Accord EX Clutch
I had a similar symptom on my '96, and thought it was the clutch, too. I found out that it was actually a fouled starter solenoid.
Do you hear a 'click' from the engine compartment when you turn the key? If so, look at the starter / starter solenoid. |

Re: 1995 Accord EX Clutch
I don't know if your Accord has one but most late model cars have a "neutral safety switch" to prevent you from starting the car unless the clutch is depressed. If the switch is going bad then what you are describing might happen.
