almost sold

this guy came buy today to look at the car, and he said he'll be back to buy it on friday. i don't know wether to be sad or happy. he lives pretty far away from me so atleast i won't see him driving around in my car and get pissed. i will get me another vr4 in a couple years, but money is a issue and i need to go cheap like something less than 6grand. cheaper insurance and cheaper payments. smoother ride, get an auto, and just cruise for awhile. i won't say i won't be racing anymore because my dad still has his vette and he's about to upgrade it to about 400hp. so i'll still be having fun but money is an issue, gotta do watcha gotta do.

Good and bad news - I hope you get the price you want for her. Its tough letting them go but at least you know its the right thing to do.

Re: almost sold

They're also damn expensive and hard to find... I think they only made around 42 of the 99 VR4's or something. Wonder how many are left....

Re: almost sold

287 99 vr4s were produced, they actually made less 98s, eitherway, the odds of finding one for sale and in great condition can't be that good. And the more years you wait, the harder. How awesome would it be if Mitsubishi came back and started making them like again...like Pontiac's GTO

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: almost sold

Yeah but look what they did to the Pontiac GTO. Looks like an oversized Grand Prix... I'm too scared they would wreck the 3000 too. And I"m not sure if I want them to ever get popular... Popularity does bad things to cars.

well i was gonna get a camaro for cheap but i decided to go slow and comfortable right now, like an intrepid, or concorde or contour. something slow there's things that i haven't told you guys also.

when my dad was my age all he ever did was race in his roadrunner, he was so wild to were he had at least 20 tickets. back then they were a little more flexible with stuff like that. anyway i am exactly how he was, i mean i race at least every other day. freeway racing and i mean i'm just a daredevil . well to the point of the story, when my dad was younger and racing wild like he was, this cop pulled him over and my dad was known for racing in the town, the cop leaned over to give him a ticket and the cop said to him "your gonna die in a car" my dad has had nightmares about this were he's racing and he looses control and flies of a cliff, but in his nightmares its not him who dies its me. let alone 3 other people told me they had a dream that i died racing. my dad has been trying to make me get rid of that car since i had it. his dream came more often once i got my car. i just need to slow down for awhile. there are lots and lots of races that i don't post in the street racing forum because there not big enough races for me to post. but yeah when it comes to racing, its like i have no self controll. so thats why i'm selling my car, plus money reasons.

Yea i know they are relly hard to find. One time i found on on ebay brand new the dealer stored it since 1999 and at the time it was 2003. Only had 43 miles on it. It sold for $65,000. Who ever got it was a rich and lucky man.
