Dumbass shops.

My friend took his FWD Cavalier in for service. It had a warranty on some part that had broken. The mechanic refused to honor the warranty, claiming "you've been burning out" while looking at gravel embedded in the rear tires. Stupid.

Re: Dumbass shops.

I have a 98 Cavalier. It's a good car. But,as far as burning out. It'll barely make a squeak. Those dealerships will do almost anything to get out of paying recalls.Except for Superior Chevy on Shawneemission parkway(KS.)

How can you possibly do a rear wheel burnout in a front wheel drive car?

Re: Dumbass shops.

Haha, a shop once told me my motor ticks because I got oil in the rocker arms. Then eh said my power brakes went out because the motor didn't have enough power to supply the brakes with power. I laughed at him. Another time I was told they couldn't put dual exhaust on my car, because there was part of the chasis in the way. Interesting, considering I know someone with the EXACT same model that had a very nice dual exhaust system put on. *sigh*
