Re: turbo kits..

The difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 is size. Obviously Stage 2 would be for a higher hp car.

I'm not sure but I believe he's out of the US.

Fitment would be up to you. Probably would have to scratchbuild an exhaust manifold for whatever car you're adapting it too. The same go for the piping.

Re: turbo kits..

scatch build......... well i cant really do that

what would it look like if i didnt make an exhaust manifold?

and btw i want to put the tamiya r32 gtr engine in it so what would a turbo without an exhaust manifold look like on that?

Impossible. You can't put a turbo onto an engine without an exhsaust manifold.

If you're not up to building an exhaust manifold than you have to use the stock turbos. You could find a way to adapt a bigger turbo to the stock exhaust manifold but that would still require some scratchbuilding with styrene rods.

Re: turbo kits..

Hey guys, thanks for the props. Yes the only difference are the sizes. The stage 2 ones are huge and I'd only suggest them for high-power single-turbo cars. A bit overkill if you use two of them. I'd say 95% of my turbo sales are the S1s.

For an exhaust manifold all you need to worry about is having some way of routing the exhaust ports into the turbine inlet. You can make this as simple or as complicated as you want. I've made 4-into-1 headers out of solder that looks killer, and I've also done some out of scrap plastic just to hook it up. Depends how visible the manifold is going to be once the model is done.

Besides, are you talking about the exhaust going into or out of the turbo? Sometimes these things get lost in translation.

If you need scratchbuilding ideas, just ask away. Post a pic or a drawing of what you want and I'm sure someone can tell you how to make one yourself.

I use the wheels from scale 1/200 model aircrafts. add a little putty where the intercooler pipe goes out and then you got a turbo!...
