Exclamation Another Rims Question............

I know rims are a common subject here but i just have one quick question for you guys "that know" !!!

Since a lot of you "stock up" on rims (which you are entitled to do) this doesnt leave much stock left at HLJ, Hobbyworld, Hobby search Etc Etc and at the moment they just arent stocking up..............

So, the question is......where/who apart from the above places have a large (HLJ dont have many) selection of Aoshima rims to choose from and have a good regular stock.

Thanks Guys.
Later, Mike.

Short answer, no one has a large selection. Demand is too high; supply always seems small. If you want wheels, pre-order or get them as they are released.

Long answer, while I'm sure HLJ, HW, etc get lots of stock, there global presence, easy of ordering, and reputation ensure that what they get sells very fast. Personally, I never use HLJ. Hobby World I use on occasion, but like I said, their wheels go fast (I always pre-order). Therefore, the trick is to hit the places people don't know about.

Rainbow 10, if you can get past the fax-them-your-credit-card-info, no online ordering, and no inventory system aside from a bunch of spreadsheets updated a couple times a week. These are deal-breakers for some, so that reduced internet traffic works to those who will take the extra steps to order. Huge stocks and fast service. And they still have a few 19" still in stock to this day. They are my #2 place for getting wheels.

If you want even lesser traffic/more supplies, try other Japanese hobby stores like M's, NextGen, etc. They have lots of older items and wheels. There is a catch. (a) you need to speak Japanese. (b) they don't ship out of Japan. That wipes out like 98% of the world. So their wheels don't sell out in a day, or a week, or even months.
