2000 MPV check engine light on and off
I have a 2000 Mazda MPV. The check engine light comes on soemtimes when I accelerate hard, and then will stay on for a day or two. It then goes off, but will come on again a couple of days later when I accelerate hard again. Coincidentally, I had put in some "Hot Shot" fuel injector cleaner & octane booster a few days before this problem started. Could this be related?
Does anyone have any ideas on what I could check to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

check engine light
check and see if the light flashes when as it first comes on it will flash if it is a missfire from the plugs,plug wires, or coil, also check and make sure you have a factory gas cap and that it is tight, did you add tow bottles or one that stuff can burn up o2 sensors,catalistic converters,valves. run the fuel tank out the add some 87 octane

hmmm I had the same problem with mine I went to the dealer and he said its just the computer malfunction because he already checked the engine. Now I dont know what to believe.
