96 Taurus turn Signal Problem please help.

I can make them flash with a test light but if i use the switch in the car it blows a fuse, I have replaced the flasher and still have the same problem. I was thinking maybe corrosion on the light bulbs themselves but I can seem to see how it's possible to even get them out with out taking the front end off. If anyone can tell me how to get them out easily or have another idea please help me!

Irecommend you purchase the chelton manual, it will show you how to remove the headlights. Also you might wnt to try and replace the multifunction switch located in the steering column..lol
