I currently own a 92 Talon with an excelent body and interior. It's a manual with a bad synchro into 2nd, but I have another tranny to go in.
My question is, if I were to obtain either a turbo engine or a turbo car, would it be easier to just change out the engine or the interior and body panels? I understand this is prolly a stupid question so I am looking for specifics, I just got my Talon and really like the shape it's in so I would rather do an engine swap, but if a body panel and interior change out is much easier then I would be up for that, if I can find another car. Thanks in advance for the help. |

i have been trying to do the same thing. the engine swap would be the hardest. there is a number of things that have to be done withthe engine. The ecu and all the electronics. the gauge and tachometer have to be changed. there is alot of mundane details that have to switched out. i would probably switch out the body panels and the interior myself. alot less time consuming.

Re: non-Turbo 2 Turbo, 2 options?
i agree with the guy above.. lots of things to do to convert to the new turbo engine.. easire to swap out the panels and interior.. 2 day job at the most motor 3-5 day job.. if everything goes well.. its alot less dirty too
