Unhappy Ticket-oramma

Aight, I so just got a 67 in a 55, right? no big deal, but I just bought the car and couldn't resist driving it. So I don't have insurance (required by IL state law). The cop found this out and raped me big time. A $500-$1000 fine is big... let alone for a college student. To top it off I have to appear in court on a Wed. in my home town and I go to school in a diff state. Yea.... so I'm pissed/down about that. Anybody got any ideas on getting this thing reversed? I can handle the speeding ticket... but bajeezus to the insurance.

Count yourself lucky.
Here in Ontario Canada, the fine can be 5,000 for not having insurance. The car gets towed at your cost too.

Try this:
Don't fuck up like that again. That was just downright stupid to drive without insurance, required or not. If you hit someone (like me) on their bike, WHILE you're speeding, and kill them you know how much MORE fucked you'd be? Think of it as a lucky break.

A-fucking-men! Pay your fine and don't do it again. It fuckwits without insurance that cause that 'uninsured motorist' line on our insurance to be so sky high.

Ahhh yes, you live in Ontario aswell... I got fined 1200 bucks for riding my fourwheeler with no insurance... and ontop of that a $150 ticket for "wreckless driving" (I was driving on the road) ....lets just say no more fourwheeler for me, had to seel the damn thing to pay the fines.
