New Aoshima Vip Wheels !!!!!

For all the wheel nuts, some NEW 19" VIP wheels on the way.

19" Amistad R's
19" Kranze Borphes

These will be released as part of new kits in the 19" Collection Series. I'm sure they will be as individual wheel sets some time later.

It's like they read my mind. I've been working on making the new Amistad R's from scratch. Now I don't have to. The Borphes is okay, would have preferred the Kranze Rapier, which I am also working on building.

Re: New Aoshima Vip Wheels !!!!!

Oh man.....More wheels Both look good.

On a related note. Aoshima is supposed to release the R34 Skyline soon (as most of us know). Along with the release they are making the Nismo Z-tune.

With this picture taken off HLJ it looks like Aoshima is going to make the Nismo LM GT4? If so, I hope they don't drop the ball in design.

Tamiya and the latest Fujimi LM GT4 are pretty good but not quite "there". I eagerly anticipate the Aoshima R34 Skyline release.

Byron, Aoshima is coming out with the Nismo LM GT4. It will be a 19" wheel. Right now, it is only going to be included with the Nismo R34, but you never know, it could become an S-Part wheel in the near future.

On a related note, I saw a new Luxy Aristo with what appears to be 19" Hamann HM2's. I'm still looking for more info on this one.

More wheel goodness ...

I could dig those Borphes under the fenders of a big Benz or Aristo. They're stellar.

Re: New Aoshima Vip Wheels !!!!!

I was just going to say that the Aristo wheels look pretty nice. The Celsior with the Amistad looks cool. The other, Cima? with the Kranze looks really cool.

Since the LMGT4 only comes with the Z-tune for now, it looks like I'll have to buy a stack of kits....

I hope so. But if you look at their mini truck series, they did not release the wire wheels as a separate wheel and tire set. They also did not release the Racing Hart C-5's off of their new mini truck line either. I was really hoping that the c-5's were going to be released separately, and bigger (19").
