Post For Sale:89' Notchback- 10.0 @ 141 mph 1/4 mile - MUST SELL A.S.A.P !!

I am posting this for a friend. I don't know much about the car, but I will list a couple of the mods that I know of off the top of my head.

It's a 1989 Mustang LX Notchback, Eagle stroked 408 ci. motor, Tremec TKO 5-speed trans, Mosier spool, Mosier axle, 3.73 gears, N.O.S big shot plate sys. (200 shot), Weld drag lights, roll cage, custom susp., custom fuel sys.,racing harnesses, custom interior, monster tach w/shift light & much much more. Approx 600 horse all motor, 800 horse on N.O.S, ran 10.0 @ 141 mph last year. Car has a brand new custom paint job in a custom blue color & cowl hood.

My friend is in serious debt and owes me and my family a lot of money, therefore we put a lean on his car until we get paid. My parents rent out an apartment to him and the money he owes has grown to a large amount (on top of the debt he is already in with other people, bill collectors, etc...) We are throwing him out for the most part and my father is keeping his car until he gets his money. We are going to try to sell the car to get back the money he owes, unless he mysteriously comes up with the money, which I seriously doubt. He WAS a good friend of mine (until now) and the entire situation has gotten pretty ugly. I know the car has AT LEAST $70,000 - $80,000 invested into it over the past 10 years he has owned the car. It is a pretty serious car with lots of mods. It is pretty much set up for the track, but could probably be made streetable with a little work. I know he had the entire motor rebuilt last summer, but blew a head gasket before storing it for the winter. The car will be priced accordingly due to the head gasket. We are willing to fix the head gasket if it helps sell the car, but we would like to sell the car as is so we can get the $$ ASAP. Not sure what the car is worth, but please post any and all offers you may have. Thinking about putting the car on e-bay, but would like to sell without going through all the trouble. Let me know what you guys think it's worth.

You can see pictures at http://www.msnusers.com/MustangOutlaw . Go to the bottom of the page where it says: "Albums with new photos" and click on "pictures". There are 2 pages, with a total
of 16 pictures.

Thanks, ~Rick

I would be suprised if you could get 10K for it. Get a better list of parts (what kind of cam, what year block is it, rotating assembly specifics, what type of heads and intake it is, carb, etc.) and I think you shouldn't be advertising it as having 600 HP naturally aspirated, because I really can't see a 408 with a dual plane or a low rise single plane (can't really tell what it is) making 600 ponies.

$70,000 to $80,000 dollars invested. the motherfucker can't pay his rent...but he can build an 80k mustang? and yeah you'll be lucky if you can sell it for $10k.
