More pics!!! (56k will scream for mercy - mine was)
Hokay.
I went roaming again today. There was this thing called the Flugtag where people would build these contraptions and "fly" them off a platform. They're like floats, it was all in the name of fun. So, I, armed with my trusty Cybershot, tootled along. There were so many people there that I couldn't get close to a good shot, and all my shots would turn out like this:  So I thought fuck that. And went walkabout through Wellington!  A Fell Beast from Lord of the Rings...  Up close  Another one...It saw me!!!  A giant zebra..building...thing...  Believe it or not those are actually public toilets...  No fucking idea what this place is  Old jag  Whoops...hehe, how'd that get there?            The lobby..   Cave troll  Cool overhead bridge   These things are scattered all over the waterfront      No idea what this is either...         Okay I'll stop now...

i know that if i was tourinisting there and no paying attention, i'd look up right when i got to a spot that it looked like the fell beast thingy was staring right at me... *eeek* but yes, amazing pics!

I want to steal one of the fell beasts and put it on my house
 Too bad they don't have the giant Gollum up that they had last year...That kite btw, is the "worlds smallest kite". About the size of an open hand. Cool, but not cool enough to pay $5. And the couch guys were just a random bunch of people pushing a couch along the waterfront...
