The future of Tibs
So, I was just sitting here thinkin about goin for a drive and got to wondering. Has anybody heard anything about what the future holds for Tibs? Like what changes Hyundai is planning on making to future models. Just one of the countless thoughts floating around in my cluttered head. I can only forsee them getting better.

Re: The future of Tibs
I saw something on tv about the next generation of tibs, i think. What i saw on tv looked just like a tiburon except with a really nice aggresive body styling and it was not called a Tiburon but really looked like one.

The ideas they are playing with can be found on the HCD-8 concept
found on www.hyundainews.com The tib will never be exactly that cause Hyundai never puts a full concept into production they combine future ideas for multiple models in one concept.

This is the vehicle i was talking about...
![]() I got those photos off of automobilemag.com.The article that accompanied them stated "Hyundai's engineers put their heads together with the coachbuilding whizzes at Karmann to come up with the CCS, which is essentially a Tiburon coupe with a retractible hardtop. Under the hood resides the Tib's familiar 2.7-liter V-6, which meets a six-speed manual gearbox." |

Re: The future of Tibs
yap!!!
from what i have hear that tib will hit the european market fisrt in 2005... but.... almost every generation of Tibs (RD and the GK) had its roadster version, at least as a prototype so... what we can wait...? only god knows...

Re: The future of Tibs
...it didnt pass chrash tests and safety issues.. it cannot be put into production.. yeah which sucks.. and i will not buy a soft top convertable
hyundai knew people were drooling over this car... but they crapped their pants once they wouldnt be able to build it... its still a possibility theyre workin on revisions.. but i highly doubt itll com eout.. but if it does... ima jump on it |

Those look like the Apache, Angel Eye head lights you can get from Shark or ADA racing. I think they run about $400.
