R33 Headlights

Hey
I was just looking through some skyline pictures when i noticed that there are two different shaped headlights for skyline? How come? How many other different shapes are there? And what models have which shape?
Thanks

This one is rounded near the grille part.

This one is flat on the top, not rounded.

There are two versions of the R33 - Series I(Up to 1995) & Series II(1996 onwards).

From your pics, the top one is Series I & the bottom one is Series II. Ask Chris25t - he'll be able to verify from first hand experience

Actually, the top picture is that of an R33 GTS/T/25T with a GTR conversion grill and aero and the bottom looks like an R34 GTS with conversion aero.

I can't see the pics, but the spec 2 has xenon lights and they are a boit more straight up and down like the GTR, if you put a series 1 and 2 side by side, the series 1 is more chiseled at the front, not as aggressive and square.

xenon lights?? - I wish! In 1998 they had xenon lights; that was the anniversary model. Series II 1996-1997 didn't have xenon lights, but yes they are more angular than the series I
