Changing exhaust

I have a 93 S-10(tahoe package) with a 4.3 with TBI. I want to take off the current exhaust system and replace it with a glass pack (thrush or cherry bomb). What I want to know is if I can do this without making any computer changes and not screwing up the readings or the performance of the engine. Thanks in advance.

Hank

Some might say that your motor wil be rather sensitive to back pressure loss but since your just replacing the muffler I dont think you will have any problems. You wont need to do any computer mods.

I would suggest a different muffler though. Maybe a Flowmater 40 series with a 2.5" in and dual outs. Then you have a choice of running dual tailpipes or just installing turndowns after muffler. I would install turndowns.
