IN PROGRESS: Nismo R32 S1
I hope these pictures stay put. If not click on my page in my sig. to see more IN PROGRESS pics.
In addition more specific pics can be viewed on my page below. I hope you like...... Here's te exterior. I've added some more decals. The wheels are obvioous. The brakes are SAS PE x-drilled. ![]() The interior. I SB'd a harness bar and 4 point floor bar. The harness is Modeler's. If you look closely the Sparco's wear pads are paint semi-gloss and so are the belt rings. The back side shell is also painted semi-gloss. ![]() The Intake Manifold. The Nismo S1 and R1 engines have red valve covers and red intake manifolds. If you noticed the throttle bracket is not the normal Tamiya. I shaved the solid Tamiya piece and replaced it with an open bracket from an Aoshima RB. ![]() A close up of the valve cover. You might ask why the VC and Manifold don't match. Well I switched themes of the car after I received some Nismo S1 decals. At that time the VC was already detailed. So the final cut is going to be an S1 engine with a R34 VC and timing cover (which is the correct color). ![]() As mentioned before. More pics can be viewed in my MSN page below in my sig.

Here's some more progress pics.
This is the rear end. If you noticed I put a solid axle in there. Pics and explanations below. Of course, to fit the Aoshima TE-37's. ![]() Here's a closer pic of what I did. I cut the axle boots off the Tamiya stock piece. I then drilled them hollow and had to drill a little bit of the differential housing. I had to do this extra step in the name of detail. After that, I test fitted everything one last time and secured it all down. Converting the rear end to the wheels.

Re: IN PROGRESS: Nismo R32 S1
man. great work so far. I LOVE all of the go-fast detailing you've done. its not all show, your concentrating on areas most overlook. unbelievable how you even obsessed over the throttle bracket, which came out fantastic!! I checked your site and the other pics. thats quite a shine there man. what paint did you shoot? the seats... nice attention to detail again (matte and gloss finishes). Most of your work speaks for itself but what I've mentioned + the two tone interior, the decal work, the harness bar (NICE)... its 10/10 all the way.
you can really see the love you have for the car through this model, and I think in the end thats what we all try for.
